Supermount naming conventions --- how to edit???

This problem is only a minor "niggle" but I'm sure there's a simple answer (beyond my reach though!!!! ;) ) I have Mandrake 10 0n my desktop and my laptop. When I plug in my USB card reader, Supermount gives me different desktop icons on the two boxes ----

1 the laptop simply comes up with an appropriate icon and the name "hard disc"
2 the desktop come up with " hard disc (part 1) [mnt/memory_card]

I'd like to control what comes up ---- rather than "Gnomemeeting /dev/v4l/video0" I'd like to have "my choice" ----- anything I can do??
