super user file manager

What happened to this super user file manager in 9.2? Now I have to go to the command line to edit just about anything. Did they remove that feature in 9.2 or is there a way to install it?

You can add it in menudrake using the command

kdesu konqueror

as the command and "File Manager - Super User Mode" (or whatever you'd like) as the title.

As a side note, Super user terminal can be added the same way using the command

kdesu konsole

Hope that helps.

The command "kdesu konqueror" will do the trick. You can add it permanently with the menu editor.

Amazing how much trouble people get into just because someone decided to remove the "konqueror as root" shortcut in mandrake 9.2
