Sound Card troubles on MDK 10.0 CE

I think most Newbie helpers are Slack users and can't help me with a MDK problem.

I also had problems with my soundcard, I have an audigy MP3+, it works fine under 9.2, I tried the alsa packages, said a newer version was already installed, but alsamixer wouldn't run, I just kept having problems with MDK 10.0 so I gave up on it and went back to 9.2. It is great.
