Question Sound Blaster AWE 64 in LE 2005 working??

Ok, I know it an old old sound board, I've a Sound Blaster AWE 64 Gold and yes, it's ISA.
The problem is:
Alsaconf didn't detected it.
Sndconfig didn't detected it too, but, I was able to manually setup it's configuration and hear the test sound just once. And then it never ever played again, it ocurr at every reinstalation (and I did 3 already due the graphics problem).

I would like not to use OSS to make my board work, because OSS use the SB as half duplex...

And here's the creepy part:
when I did sndconfig and made the correspondant moddules to load into the kernel my pc stop to load the /prob/bus/usb filesystem and the network!!!!
Yeah, probably it's a IRQ conflict, but where to look at that???

Any ideas?

THanks in advance!

Yup!
Everything is fine @ the bios config.

I reserved the IRQ 5 and DMA 1 and 5 for the Sound Blaster.

And theres a file /etc/isapnp.GONE where I reserved the same values too
in /etc/modules.conf I edited to that values.
So apparently that's ok, but I'm still without sound, net and USB!

Creeeeepy....
