smiley icons in kopete

I have a very small, maybe stupid, question to ask: Can kopete0.7.3 show smiley icons on the chat window(either mine or of the one I'm chating to) with protocol of MSN? I ran kopete0.7.3 yesterday for my first time chating on net with my brother! He said he didn't see any smiley icons I'd appeded to my says, and when I added a smile icon, it didn't show the icon itself but something like this ''. Is it a normal condition? Thanks in advance for reply.

you need to select which smiley icons to use
in the kopete window
go to Settings > Configure Kopete > Behaviour > Emoticons
