smb printer sharing and service pack 2

Hello, im trying to use printerdrake to print on a printer that is connected to a windows xp sp2 computer. Before, with sp1, things worked ok. Now, however, when i enter the info (hostname, ip, etc) and click next, it says lpstat: unable to connect to server: connection refused. I think this has to do with the new security settings. what do i change?

The EASY answer is to disable the XP firewall via the control panel.

Once done things should work again.

The LONG answer is to netstat the ports which Samba and netbios networking utilize then go to the XP firewall software and unblock these ports.

This would permit you to continue utilizing the XP firewall.

i figured it out... after a couple of hours disabling firewalls, etc. i had wrote HOME in the workgroup instead of Home.
