Hi! I was checking out the very impressive-looking SmartRPM and I was wondering if anyone tried using this software? Is it any good and would i be able to use it on my own system?

The link should be to www.smartpm.org not smartrpm. It appears to be for Fedora users not for Mandrake users. It can use repositories (if I'm reading it right) from Mandrake, Slackware and Fedora sites but is written for Fedora only.
Well, thus far it's very new and so I doubt it's been fully tested. It may bork your entire system or it may not. Plus, you have URPMI built into Mandrake and I have yet to find a better package manager for Mandriva/rake than that.
