smart dj extension for amarok

hi all!

I have just switched from xmms to using amarok as my main audio player... and boy am i sorry i didnt do this earlier. I really love the intuitive interface, the eye candy and all the bells and whistles. Its great.

got one problem though. i was looking through the extensions available for amarok which is version 1.3 btw, and smart dj seems like something i would love to have... unfortunately it requires a number of python apps and stuff to actually work... i am using mandriva 2006 free version with main, contrib, update, jpackage, seerofsouls, plf-free, plf non-free repositories added to urpmi but i cant find the required dependencies.

has anybody got smart dj to work on mandriva 2006? how? where from? a few tips and guidelines would be really helpful... here is the list of dependencies as given by amarok...

- amaroK 1.3.1 or higher [got this obviously, not the SOS version]
- a working installation of Python [got this]
- attr (getfattr and setfattr commands) [got this]
- a Python package called python-extattr
- a Python package called python-commandsplus
- a Python package called python-Observable
- a Python package called python-amarok
- the songanalysis program (which analyzes the songs)
- (optional, highly desirable ) mpg321 (to analyze MP3) [got this]
- (optional, highly desirable) ogg321 (to analyze Ogg Vorbis files)
- (optional, highly desirable) PyQt [got this]
- (optional, highly desirable) support for extended attributes on your file systems
- (future optional requirements) PyKDE

it says that there are precompiled rpms for download but i would rather use rpms made for mandriva 2006 and do it using urpmi... thats what its there for right?

hope somebody can help me out here..

thanks a mill..

lib.
