Slow TCP/IP response in Free 2007
I use x11vnc to access my desktop from other places on the network. When I try to connect it takes about ten seconds to bring up the login screen. When I use FTP internallt - same thing. When I'm in FTP it will take a while to change folders, list files etc. Once the file transfer is going its fast, but I don't know what is causing the connection delay. I have ipv6 deactivated, and websites do come up fast when browsing from the Mandriva machine.
