Simple Xover LAN with Mandrake 10 and USB Modem problem?
 

Hi all
I have been using Mandrake since 7.1 but have now got 2 machines.
The problem I am encountering is the No1 machine ( Gigabyte GA-7DXE motherboard) works fine and connect to the internet using the Alcatel 330 USB modem, but as soon as I install the PCI LAN card, Mandrake 10 assumes the LAN is the internet connection.
Result no LAN and no internet, very frustrating.
I have with the help of this forum overcome the ASROCK K7S8X motherboard machines install problem can you help me over this one?
