setting up my isp in mandrake
 

i havent actually installed mandrake yet. i had it installed before then found out i had a winmodem. i read that if i have a external serial modem that will work, so.... my dads work was moving locations we got alot of free comp stuff, and one of those things is a external serial modem. if i install mandrake and it configs my modem, how do i set linux up to dial to my isp which is sadly aol... damn parents...?

aol support informed me there was no way to connect w/o using the America On Hold software, so i switched to Earthlink so I could manually config the dial-up . If you find a way , please let me know! Regards,Larry
