selecting OS

I have two hard drives, one 40 GB and the other 60 GB. My original hd has XP pro and I have successfully installed Mandrake 9.2 on hdb. The problem has developed when I boot up and the screen displays which OS to select Windows, linux, etc) does not appear fast enough before it boots to linux. Is there any way to speed up the time that screen is displayed because the default is Mandrake? (That is not a big problem, but if I want to boot the XP, I must repeat the process).
Thank you,

Change the:

parameter in /etc/lilo.conf

after you've changed it run

(remember, 10 = 1 second, 50 = 5 seconds, 100 = 10 seconds etc etc)
