When I'm installing Mandrake 9.2 I get all the way to the configure screen, and I try to test my video card which is a Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro Atlantis but it says "An error has occured try another configuration," or something like that. I just finish the installation and start up Mandrake, it goes to the prompt and when I try to startx it doesn't work either. I'm also a Linux newbie So I also have no idea what I'm doing. I have a Epox 8RDA+ nForce 2 chipset, Athlon 1600 overclocked to 1.65 ghz. It runs pretty good, around 86-92F. XP works on it fine. Two sticks of Corsair XMS pc3200 256 DDR memory. (512 Total) If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I would just really like to start using Linux Thank you.

I have the error I get:

(WW) RADEON: No matching device section for instance (BUSID PCI:3:0:1) found.

(EE) No devices dectected.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

That's what I get when I type in startx at the prompt. Thanks again.

Sorry, I just found this post in the hardware section of the forums. It was just very generally named and I guess I didn't notice it.
