samba-common-3.0.2a-3.2.100mdk.i586.rpm

Hi everyone.

Weirdest thing... I can't download the security update package samba-common-3.0.2a-3.2.100mdk.i586.rpm.

I have tried every mirror I can find and every one does the same thing. Stalls between 0% and 16%. I've tried every pc in my house to download it with no luck. ftp clients and browsers. Windows and Linux. My samba client isn't working now because the other updates installed and that one didn't I guess. I didn't do anything else with samba.

I also noticed that there's a security vulnerability in that package.

Not sure what to do here.

Thanks for any help.

Don't worry about that update if it already has a flaw in it. You can get your old Samba running again by just removing it and reinstalling again. You might want to make a copy of your /etc/samba/smb.conf file first though.
