RPMDrake and MenuDrake problems - 10.1

I've recently upgraded to 10.1 from 9.2, but I seem to have had many, many problems with 10.1. The latest ones involve MenuDrake and RPMDrake.

The menudrake problem is simple enough. As the splash screen appears, the program terminates when the loading bar is about half way (Loading Pixmap or something). When I use the menudrake command from Konsole, the same happens again, but a "Segmentation Fault" error appears.

As for RPMDrake, it is failing to recognise the installation CDs. When I put the corresponding CD in and press OK, RPMDrake ejects the CD from the drive and produces the message:

Please insert the medium named "Installation CD 1" on device [/dev/cdrom]

It IS CD1 for goodness sake!

So can anyone help me with this? Many thanks in advance.

Make sure your fstab is correct. I had MDK 9.1 mistake hdc for hdd which resulted in the same error.

I found the same problem when I upgraded things that worked before were now broken, all was resolved when I did an update and installed all the bugfixes and security updates.
