Right end of screen repeats with off color

I installed 2006 from the linux central 6 cd set. The install goes fine but on booting the right portion of the screen is repeated with a faded off color. (about 2-3 inches) everything seem to work. I have a Samsung LCD monitor number 150s. This setup has worked fine with MDK 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2. The problem started with version 10 official. I just haven't had the time to persue it until now. Thanks.

Hi there, have you tried adjusting the monitor refresh rate? also, do a screenshot, and look to see if the distortion is included in the capture.
