Resizing text in the command line Mandrivia 2006

I have installed a barebone system for Mandrivia 2006. All I have is the command line (I am using this box on a very old computer as a small file server)

The problem is whenever I run a command that generates a lot of output, I cant see all the output as it runs off the screen. Is there any way I can change the font size/make the command line screen scrollable?

try editing the resolution for CLI in /etc/lilo.conf

Here are the codes:

640x480 vga=769
800x600 vga=771
1024x768 vga=773
1280x1024 vga=775
1600x1200 vga=796

Isnt that file for configuring what shows up on the LILO boot loader? What I want preferably is either to reduce the text size in command line, or have the window be able to scroll or something similar.

I don't know how to change the font size. But if you pipe your command into less, you will be able to scroll the output.

Example: ls -l | less
