Remove package

I installed Nessus on Mandrivia LE2005 with the command "sh ness..sh"; now I see that this package hasn't the gui and I'd like to uninstall it ( for try with the source files).
My question is : how can i Uninstall that software ?
I can't find it with the Mandrivia uninstallation menù and on the RPM package....

The easiest way probably is to rerun the install process using checkinstall.
Either it will overwrite the files; in this case, just uninstall the installed RPM with the package manager.
Or it will complain that the files already exist; in this case, you should end up with an archive file containing all the files that were in conflict, each of which is a file to delete.

Please note however: this is pure theory. I've had issues in the past with checkinstall in very special cases. Myself, I would feel confident enough because of my experience with Linux, but you had better know what you're doing.

Yves.

If you didn't install it as an RPM package then its not going to show up in the RPM database and therefore can't be uninstalled by urpmi/rpm. This is way you should always install RPMs for Mandriva if you have the choice. If you head over to http://easyurpmi.zarb.org and setup access to the contrib repository you will see that someone has already made RPMs for nessus (including the GUI) for Mandrivalinux. This will save you a lot of time and trouble trying to compile things from source.

To uninstall the nessus that you've installed using the nessus.org installer try re-running that installer or looking for help on the nessus.org site.
