The Mandriva Install DVD compared to CD version is an example of how media packages are divided.
move a group of files (that will fit on dvd) to another folder on your hdd. /mnt/media1
Code:
urpmi.addmedia --force newmedia1 /mnt/media1 with hdlist.cz
this will generate all depenencies and make a hdlist.cz file
generally it will create a file here
Code:
/var/lib/urpmi/hdlist.newmedia.cz
copy it to where the rpms are and burn it

cp /var/lib/urpmi/hdlist.newmedia.cz /mnt/media1/hdlist.cz
repeat until youve made all the dvds you need.
theres probably an easier way but i use this
