Reliable 32-bit Apps on AMD64 Mandrake ??

Sorry if this is a FAQ. If it is, please point me to any previous discussion.

I've been running various 32-bit Mandrakes for a few years.

What are the gotchas when trying to run precompiled 32-bit applications on AMD64 MDK10.X ?

If a 32-bit library is missing from the 64-bit distribution, can I expect to install 32-bit RPMs
in a sane way with rpm/urpmi ?

Or do I just have to copy the library files from a 32-bit installation ?
