reinstall perl question.. (urpme perl)

I feel like I need to reinstall perl for various reasons. (I am having errors when installing packages VIA CPAN, and other erros when I try to run perl )

My question is, How safe/easy is it to uninstall perl with urpme? Is there a better way to completely reinstall perl?

Thanks

If you remove perl, urpmi et al will stop working because they depend on perl and are written in perl.

Yea, I actually was able to get everything updated with CPAN.. it was weird though.
i did a install Bundle::CPAN, and it didnt work right for some reason. Did it again, it worked, and now everything is peachy.

Thanks!
