If you haven't already done so goto http://easyurpmi.zarb.org and setup access to all the repos. Now install win32codecs, helixplayer (selecting the realcodecs package if it asks you during the install) and, if what XavierP said doesn't work for you, try installing mplayer and mplayerplugin as well.

hello,
i have used easyurpmi, but which mirror(ie france, etc) contains the correct part. If they are all the same then the realplugins are not working correctly as they have been loaded ?
many thanks, and i will try the above as well .

Have you got both the PLF sources from easyurpmi? The package is called real-codecs
ftp://ftp.planetmirror.com/pub/plf/m...ree/10.2/i586/

What does the error message say? Have you tried installing mplayer and mplayerplugin?

Install all of the codecs on the urpmi site, then install mplayer. It automatically puts in a mozilla plugin (or at least it did for me) and it plays embedded video, sound and everything just fine.

Thanks, I've been looking forever for the codecs for real player. You rock.
