Random unstoppable alt-tab loop

Bit of a weird one here but on mdk10.0 final (and all other mdks I've tried) when using opera (once again all the way up to 7.50 final) I get random alt-tabbing of windows and tabs and right clicking all over the place.
It's extremely hard to explain but my interface just goes into overdrive with random actions everywhere.
I didn't even know you COULD alt-tab between page tabs in opera (and still don't know how) before this came about.

I have mouse gestures off so I'm stumped.

Can't attach a snapshot but I'd really like to know the source of this. Is it KDE, Mandrake or Opera.

I just can't live without opera because firefox and mozilla just don't cut it despite their OSS credentials.

I don't recall ever having the same exact problem, but I do get similar things in Mandrake 9.2, with KDE 3.1. For instance, the same letter will write itself like a thousand times in vim or kedit. I do also get massively recursive alt and control gestures. It doesn't happen very often (not enough for me to bother to fix it), but it does happen. Since it's not Opera-related in my case, the field is narrowed down to mdk and kde (if we're even talking about the same thing). I wonder if anybody knows something about this...

Sounds like the same ball-park to me.

I'm pretty desperate to get this fixed though as just mouse movement after a while of inactivity (30secs or more) I'm locked into a min 2 min non-interruptible cycle which has even closed open documents on my taskbar.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this.
