Radeon Drivers with Mandriva LE 2005
 

I have tried to follow the http://rage3d.com/articles/atilinuxhowto/Linux_ATI.html
howto on installing radeon drivers, but I am not having any luck at all, for one I cannot find this VMALLOC patch it says to use, plus I am not sure how to get the kernel source installed for my distro (maybe its already installed??, not sure how to check) Is there an easy way to add or remove things from the kernel besides the make menuconfig and make bzImage and replacing my current kernel, and updating lilo etc etc.. all to confusing for me hehe. not sure if there is a nice utility within mandrake to do this stuffs.
