Quick RPM Install Question...

I did a full install of Mandrake 10 RC1 and I am unable to install downloaded rpm files from KDE, I have to use the console.

Must be something I'm missing any suggestions?

Actually I will recommend you to use the console. You have much more control over the install this way (error-messages and so on).
If you insist on installing rpm's in a graphical way, try to google after an rpm front-end.

Thanks, I'm sure the console install can be better. But in the past, I would just install from Konqueror, seemed very easy.

I searched and found I need to associate it to kpackage, but thats not on the system.

Sorry if this is basic stuff, but if someone could explain what I need to do or dl it would be great.

I rebooted and now it seems to work, strange.

How did it work strange?
You can download kpackage at ftp://ftp.uwa.edu.au/pub/k/kpackage-1.3.10.tgz
Be aware that you might need to compile it (post again if you don't know how to do that).
