Questions about uninstalling Linux
 
Excuse me if this sounds stupid, but if I plan to re-install MDK, would I need to do fixmbr and then reinstall? I know it's short but I am kind of worried about it for some reason, thanks.

No, any Linux distro will overwrite the mbr. You would only really need to fixmbr if it either got corrupted or you wanted to remove Linux entirely.

In fact, when re-installing you'll even get the choice to "not overwrite /home" which may or may not be useful depending on why you're re-installing.
