Question on lilo/grub options on mandrake
 

I currently have my laptop dual boot SuSE/XP and I want to replace the SuSE installtion with Mandrake 10. The one thing I am concerned about is that SuSE installed grub and I want to check how Mandrake might handle that on installation. Will it just remove grub and install lilo as the boot manager? Can I use grub as a choice and it will just update my grub settings?

I really want to be careful so I don't have issues with bual boot managers fighting here.

before you go and ditch SuSE, what chipset and what gfx card does your lappy have? I know this has nothing to do with your question but I could save you a headache!

It is an IBM R50 centrino with a Ati 9000 gpu.

It installed fine. The boot loaders were not a problem. I told it to install the loader in the MBR and it just overwrote theGRUB info fine.
