Question about running 7.2 on a Pent166 clunker

Hi all,

Before I start installing 7.2 on "The Clunker": can one dual boot (Win98SE and 7.2) in that version?

Anything else to look out for? By now I know that 9.2 recognizes all the hardware on "The Clunker", so I assume 7.2 will too, or am I "dreaming" again?

BTW on the 7.2 it mentioned min of 32M Ram, recommended 64M. That should work.

Quick update: 7.2 installed without a hitch! The "Install GUI" is IMO much better than 9.2 or 10.0

With 7.2 even a Newbie like myself can see what is being installed, where the install is in the sequence and how long it will take.

Sure makes me wonder why the developers can't keep the "good stuff" in place when they "improve" things (yes, that's a rhetorical question.

We all know the answer to that one!)

I'll be back when I have more questions.
