Quanta 3.2 on 10.1 problem

Hi,

I am having real problems with my Quanta now. It all happened when I clicked on an ikon and all the Quanta split up into different windows and i have been unable to get them back.

Now it's got worse. On the root screen it left the 3.2 Quanta sign up permanently on screen and in all virtual windows. I removed the quanta and re installed but if i try to run from root screen the same things happens again. It does not happen with users.

Anyone idea where the hidden file is that quanta is using that I need to remove. I presume it is in the root directory but may be wrong.

Help would be appreciated.

Try looking for ~/.kde/share/config/quantarc

It sounds like you are running it as root? and that root's personal quanta configuration is messed up. Try deleting that file in /root and restarting Quanta.
