qcad not working

qcad gives the following error when starting:

[don@desktop ~]$ qcad
*** glibc detected *** malloc(): memory corruption: 0x0825a148 ***
/usr/bin/qcad: line 3: 5995 Aborted ./qcad "$@"
[don@desktop ~]$

It did not help to delete qcad then reinstall.
How do I solve this?

Did you remove qcad using "rpmdrake"? If so check to see if it actually removed /usr/bin/qcad first, before re-installing...

There is no /usr/bin/qcad.
I used 'locate' and 'rm' as root every file with 'qcad' in it.

I get the same error when trying to install 1.5.1 or 1.5.4.
Trying to install 2.0.5 tells me several 'xorg' files are needed.
