pwrpk 10.1 and ibm thinkpad r32

During my install of Mandrake PowerPack 10.1 on
IBM ThinkPad R32 laptop, I encountered an error
that says "EE:check other parameters" during video
card configuration.

I double checked for the correct settings but continued
to get this error; so, I just ignored it and continued onto
the next step towards the first rebooting.

Upon rebooting, I saw bunch of errors and I got just
login prompt.

I didn't record those error messages during the first reboot.

Basically, my question is, is this a known issue with R32
for PowerPack 10.1? If anyone managed to successfully
install on R32, I'd like to hear your stories.
