Problems with video in Mandrake 10.0 -- Nvidia is installed correctly.

I have looked over the forums here and have tryed some of the things that have been suggested about video problems. None seem to help though. The problem is whenever I fire up any of the video players (totem, xine, mplayer) I get scrambled looking video. The only other way to describe it is to show you a pic of it. In order to post a pic of it though I am required to have at least five posts in these forums. So If you could add the www to the url you should be able to see it. clannva.org/~sly/whack/tn/IMG_1675.jpg.html

I have the Nvidia drivers installed correctly and can even see the Nvidia logo when I boot the machine. If you guys (and gals) can give me any suggestions on how to fix this or push me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I have been working on this for days now and it is driving me batty!!

Thanks

Maybe it is a codec problem, try getting win32-codecs and see if that helps. The colour might be off oo, so put the hue all the way to the left in the options/viseo on totem.

I got the codecs by adding a urpmi source for plf, then 'urpmi win32-codecs'.

Thanks for the suggestions but I have tryed all of those too. First thing I did when I upgraded was to update my urpmi hdlist and update everything...including the plf source. As for the totem suggestions...I read that in these forums too and thought that my problems were solved, but it turns out that didn't help either. In fact by default the hue slider was all the way to the left when I enter the preferences section of totem.
