Problems with a USB Benq scanner 4300u
 

Hello, I'm a newb and having problems with xsane getting my usb scanner to access, it lites up when it's searching for it but it say it can't find any scanner, I try scandrake and it comes up with Acer, however no matter what scanner is selected or what USB port it's in, it's not able to access it. I got it working once before in mandrake but I think that was on a different mainboard. I try running xsane as root and that doesn't help either, is there a driver or something for the scanner to work ?
