Problems using Drakconnect
 

i just finished installing Mandrake 9.2 on my Dell and everything went fine, except the internet connection. for starters, i'm using a Linksys wired router that connects three computers, DHCP enabled. as i'm trying to use drakconnect, its detecting my etherrnet card but not getting an IP address from the router.
also, i noticed when the system was booting up, the kernel message showed up that it was trying do a DHCP broadcast to 169.147.255.255 ip. i assume that has something to do with me not being able to get online.
i'd really appreciate some input on this.

In Drakconnect, run the wizard. There should also be an option to set your gateway IP, set it to the LAN IP of your router which should be by default 192.168.1.1.
