Problem with USB after upgrading to 2006

I did a network upgrade of my 2005 to 2006 yesterday. Now my USB-pen is not recognized automaticly. I have not had the time to test other functions. Am at work now, do not have acsess to my mandriva machine.
Anyone know a simple solution?

You should plug it in, cthen click on System -> Media -> Removable drive (or right click on removable drive and select mount).

I fixed it. Had to get the latest kernel. The automatic update didn't include it. After a reboot, bingo!!

What version is that kernel, and where can i find it please? Might be the solution to my problem as well...

I'm using 2.6.12-12.mdk. Found it at Mandriva, as far as I can remeber.
