Problem with thumb drive in KDE
HI all,
When I insert a thumb drive into my laptop while in Gnome, it works perfect and the desktop icon shows up for it.
However, in KDE when I insert the drive, nothing happens, and atually screws up my computer. After I insert the drive, I can't use Konquerer either because when I try to open it, it just hangs. DOes anyone have any bright ideas? I really prefer KDE over Gnome and want to stay with it.

More detail: go to Easy Urpmi, set up your repositories, and then enter the command "urpmi --auto-select" (without the quotes). That will install all updates.
Or if you prefer, after setting up your repositories, Start the Mandrake Control Center gui ("Configure Your Computer"), click on the Software button, and then click on the Updates button.
In either case, it will take a while to download and install all the updates.
