Question problem with mounting 2nd HD (ext3)

O.k. While I was running FC3 in the past, I formatted and created a ext3 partition on a 2nd hard drive.
So I mounted it once again with HardDrake, well enough. I reboot, and when it's booting it tells me something about needing to update e2fsck and it doesn't boot the computer until I erase the line that mounts the 2nd hd in /etc/fstab

So I'm forced to umount it everytime I'm going to boot off, AND erase the line from the /etc/fstab.

Any ideas?

Add "noauto" to the line in fstab so that it's not mounted at boot time. I'd newfs the disk again after reading the man page for drake and making sure there aren't any weird options that you need to set.
