problem while isntalling from HD

i'm trying to install linux mandrake on VMware from HD, the source in and EXT2 partition in my HD, the problem is at the begining of the installation a message appear "Please enter the directory (or ISO image file) containing the mandrake linux distribution.
Directory or ISO imag ____________"

actually i'm fresh in linux and don't know what path should i write in the space. any help

I have read on their site how to install from a HD. That iso was made to be burned to a cd. I think that you have to boot from a diskett or something to install the ISO from a hard disk.
