problem installing tbird and ff on mdk10.1
to install tb on mdk10.1
got installation issues with thunderbird and firefox on my mdk10.1 box:
when i run ./thunderbird i get this message:
SCIM: im_module_init
free(): invalid pointer 0x8e45fe8!
free(): invalid pointer 0x8e45fc0!

tar -xzvf firefox-1.0.6.installer.tar.gz
cd firefox-installer/
./firefox-installer
the welcome screen appears, i press forward then i get this message:

free(): invalid pointer 0x821bec0!
free(): invalid pointer 0x821be98!
./firefox-installer: line 56: 11920 Segmentation fault ./${BINNAME}-bin $@
please someone help me get on with the installation for these two apps.
