problem: dovecot /sbin/service dependencies

Code:
# rpm -Uvh dovecot-0.99.10-4mdk.i586.rpm:
error: Failed dependencies:
        /sbin/service is needed by dovecot-0.99.10-4mdk.i586
I have searched the web for an hour now, but no results. Anybody have any idea where to find this package?

Should be installed by default since this is how you manage services.
Why don't you use urpmi?
Did you setup your sources with easyurpmi?
