Postfix Not working
 

I have a Mandrake 10.1 system, but the mail system doesn't seem to be working. It says that postfix is running, and I have done a postfix reload, but it doesn't send mail. When I did a port scan of the system, it says that port 25 is closed, like postfix is not running. Any ideas?

If you make any changes you have to restart postfix. also have you configured the main.cf file of postfix? and I believe to send and recieve mail you also have to have imap.

Also what security level did you choose when you set up the machine?

If anything above Normal, you'll need to manually unblock things.

I believe you are right opjose, I did choose higher than normal.

How do I go about changing it manually?
