pen drive and Mandrake 10.1 blues

Hello,
I am not able to browse my Transcend pen drive.
As soon as I connect the pen drive I am not able to
open Konqueror.And I see no icon on the desktop.
Though I can browse the content using commandline.

This stuff worked perfectly on Mandrake 10.0

Any idea howto set it right ?

Run all your updates. There is a problem with konqueror not opening after hooking up a usb storage device that is addressed in the updates.
