PCMCIA wireless Card for Mandrake 10
 

Can you recommend a wireless card that will be automatically detected in Mandrake 10.0. I have had nothing but issues trying to get this to work.
I enjoy linux but not the headaches with the hardware.

Please help me find a wireless card I can insert have it be detected can configured.

I have the Lioncom working on Man 10 it needed cardctl and a little editing of the pcmcia file. The chipset and manufacturer were listed but the man ref number needs to be added.

I think none will work with Man 10 out of box as you need to load the pcmcia tool package, which for some odd reason is not default with 10 but was with 9.2 and 10rc1. If you do this then you might find your's works OK.

A tip is if you are fed up with the pcmcia solution the usb wireless is far easier and cheaper, I had my wireless usb working first time this way.
