PCI: probing pci hardware (bus 00)

How do I solve this problem?

Maybe in the Mandrake Control Center under System --> Services ?

Just a wild guess. good luck!

possibly.. but the problem is that I can't get to the control center, because the boot process totally halts before I even get to the mandrake "loading" screen.

I tried edit menu.lst (my bootloader is GRUB) in the rescue mode and introduce "nohotplug" to my bootup line. that didn't help any.
