Could someone enlighten me real quick regarding how passwords are script and shadowed-PAM?-. My problem is that other people can not get on/logged. I can only get on as root not any of other users. Why is that? Other words the authentication fails on my MD9.1. I had a similar problem where I could not get on as root , I just reinstalled it and it worked but now it's just reversed. Thanks in advance.
<It's just a normal installation with defaults other than replaced Postfix with Send mail. Could it be my hard disk is going bad? Strangely I had to replace a table on Mysql database out of hundreds because it could not read it.>
