Partition

Ok, so I want to re-paritition my hard drive, so that I can put a Windows partition on there. HOwever, the partition manager in the 'configure my computer' section will not let me resize the partition that is already in use. What linux partition utility can I use to repartition??

Since I don't think u can unmount ur / partition u'll have to use knoppix or damnsmall linux w/ qtparted. Also be prepared for windows to wipe out ur bootloader.

you can also use the Mandrake install CD->expert mode & resize partitions that way. the usual warning applies............ if you have data on the drvie, back up what you might not want to lose because resizing partitions can result in total loss of data if you're not careful.
