Partioning your HDD?


I loaded up the Mandrake 7.0 (Yes, very old, but so is my PC) and it said "Error: No available partitions" How do I partition it? Y'all do not want to see me cry...lol, anyway.

Thank you guys soooo much - I'm almost there!

I'd use a live CD (eg Knoppix) if you don't already have any distos installed on there.
Then you can partition with qtparted (GUI) or fdisk (CLI) straight from the CD.

Or you could get a more recent version of Mandrake that does all this for you, or let's you do custom partitioning.
