OMG! Mandrake 10 problems!!!
 

This is driving me crazy!!!

I installed Mandrake 10 official but no matter how hard I try I just can't get my ATI radeon 9600 to work. It defaults to a 800x600 resolution and I can't change it to anything higher. Also I have two monitors that I would like to set up _dual monitor display) but for the life of me can't sort it out. Help someone please!!!!!

i guess i will keep that in mind. am am between mandrake and suse right now

Seems like the ATI video cards require proprietary drivers that don't come with the Download edition. Why not set for generic SVGA at a suitable resolution? Generic ought to work.

You could check the ATI website for drivers. I don't know if they have them for Mdk 10 yet, but they do for 9.2 and they work well for my installation.
