nvidia with and without windows

This may be of help to those who like myself experienced problems with nvidia drivers.
I was installing Mandrake 9.1 onto a formated harddrive and was getting errors, and so decided to use a Banshee video card and had no further problems. I am currently trying to dual boot with Windows xp and on loading Mandrake 9.1 experienced no problems with nvidia. This will be obvious to the experienced, but I just thought I would mention it, because I was unaware of this.

I've always had an nVidia card, and have never had ANY issues installing or running Mandrake with it. :|

And I have installed it on a windows-less computer.
