not able to adjust the hsync and vsync for my tft

hi i just installed the ati driver for my ati 9600 XT on mandrake 9.2 now X server starts up , but the hsync and vsync it uses are much to high for my TFT - it uses a hsync of 94 KHZ and a Vsync of 85 Hz - but my tft is specified for 64 KHZ and 60 Hz
I Tried to chance it with fglrxconfig - and also in my XF86Config-4 stands 64 and 60 but my Monitor shows 94 KHZ and 85 HZ

any ideas how to make the changes work ?

thx in advance

Have you tried ctrl-alt-plus (+) or minux (-) to switch through resolutions?
Mandrake may have picked up other configurations.

Have you tried the command

I have never use fglrxconfig but have you input your own modeline in the XF86Config-4?
